BOSTON-- The Flames took a commanding 3 games to 1 lead in their series against the Bruins thanks to Mike Vernon in the net and Joe Mullen who scored both of the Flames goals. Vernon was 20 for 21 while his opposite in the net Frank Brimsek rebounded from his poor Game 3 performance by putting together a 22 for 24 night that just wasn't good enough for the Bruins in Game 4. On the verge of the All-Time Stanley Cup Finals, the Flames must not become complacent because they had to rebound from a 3 games to none defecit in the 1st Round.
