MONTREAL-- The Canadiens' overcame an early goal by the Islanders and their stifling defense to take a 1 game to none series lead. The Canadiens' Ken Dryden outdueled the Islanders' Billy Smith with a 27 for 28 performance against a 17 for 20 performance. It seems that the Canadiens have gotten back on their stride from the 1st Round as they won the final two against the Bruins in the quarters and the first game of this series.
