College Football Playoff

Elite Eight 12 noon game

Robinson Regional Final (Austin, TX)
2) Penn State 41, 1) Texas 13 http://www.whatifsports.com/ncaafb/boxscore.asp?GameID=819245&nomenu=1

Summary
The Nittany Lions roared into Final Four with a dominating performance to end the national title hopes of the 1-seeded Texas Longhorns. Penn State's Evan Royster led the rushing attack that accounted for all five of their TDs and totalled nearly 300 yards against the 2nd-best rushing defense in the Big 12. The Longhorn's Colt McCoy tried his best to give the Longhorn's offense a boost, however the running gain and execution just couldn't come together. As a result Penn State awaits a trip to either a trip to Gainesville to face Florida or a test at home against the Crimson Tide of Alabama. The Longhorns were the last representative of the Big 12, which many believed to be the best conference in the country this year.
