Philadelphia- (3) '67 76ers 143, (2) '72 Lakers 142 (OT) (Win 4-2)
The 76ers won one of the most interesting games of the playoffs to advance to the All-Time Finals. Gail Goodrich lead the Lakers back in the 4th quarter to tie the game at the end of regulation to send the game into OT. The Lakers riding momentum took a 4 point lead only to see the 76ers go on a 12-1 run then hold the Lakers as they tried to mount another comeback. Seven 76ers and six Lakers went into double-digits, but in the battle of the Wilts, it was the '67 incarnation that dominated in OT that helped the 76ers advance to the Finals to face the '71 Bucks.
