The 76ers stole home-court advantage for the series by outscoring the Lakers by 13 in the 4th quarter that including several 8-0 runs, one in fact that put them up for good. The '67 Wilt outscored and outrebounded the '72 Wilt, especially in the 4th as the '67 Wilt kept the Lakers out of the paint and helped a total team effort that helped the '76ers take a 1 nil series lead.
