Game 5
Chicago- (11) '91 Bulls 95, (1) '96 Bulls 86 (Series 2-3)
Boston-

Highlights
Chicago- Down 6 points at the start of the 4th Quarter, Horace Grant scored 8 of this 13 points and along with Dennis Hopson led the Bulls back to take Game 5 and stave off elimination as for the fourth game in a row, the road team has won in this series.
Boston- The Bucks down 11 at the start of the 4th jumped onto the backs of Kareem and Oscar Robertson, but neither could seal the victory at the end of the 4th as Dennis Johnson scored the tying basket to send it into overtime. The first overtime was a back and forth affair that looked like with 2 second the Bucks had stolen the game as Oscar hit a jumpshot, but as time expired Bird it a floater just outside the paint to send it to a second OT. It didn't seem to faze the Bucks as they came out in the 2nd OT and twice had 6 point leads, the final won with 41 seconds left when Bird hit a 3 pointer then hit another with 10 seconds left to tie the game. The Bucks' Dandridge and the Celtics' Parish both missed shots at the end of the game as it was headed to a third OT. In the third OT, the Celtics scored only 15 points but clamped down on defense as the Bucks after failing to hold the lead for the past three periods just couldn't find the motivation. The Celtics won by 9 as Bird scored 48 while Kareem led all scorers with 50, but the Celtics will be taking a 3 games to 2 lead to Milwaukee looking to take the series.
