Summary
Defense ruled the day in the Camp Regional Final as the top-seeded Trojans scored two TDs in the 4th quarter to end the Cinderella run of the 7-seeded Iowa Hawkeyes. The Trojans held the Hawkeyes to 183 yards of offense, 173 coming via the run with Shonn Greene providing 108 yards of that (56 coming on his TD run in the 4th quarter). The Matt Sanchez led offense had 430 yards of offense, but hardly anything to show for it until the last 19 minutes of the game. The Hawkeyes provided an unnerving test against the Pac-10 champions, but the Trojans survived to host a Final Four game against the Rockne Regional champion Boise State Broncos.
