College Football Playoffs

The Final Four- National Semifinal #1 (Los Angeles, CA)
1) Southern Cal 39, 3) Boise State 0 http://whatifsports.com/ncaafb/boxscore.asp?GameID=829865&nomenu=1

Summary
The Trojans ran roughshod over the Broncos in the 1st National Semifinal game as Southern Cal punched their ticket to the Rose Bowl National Championship Game. Boise State defense's trouble with the run exposed by Georgia Tech in the Rockne Regional Finale, was exploited by the Trojans who had 59 rushed for a total of 416 yards of which Joe Knight had 222 along with a TD. Many might consider this result as a fact that non-BCS teams should have less presence in future tournaments, however Boise State had overcome several BCS teams and earned their Final Four bid and came up against the #4 overall seed of the tournament who was a heavy favorite. But it is the Trojans who look to get their third National Title of the decade against either the Gators or the Nittany Lions.

Conference Records
