Boston- McHale, Bird, and D. Johnson each scored 16 as five '86 Celtics scored in double figures including 17 by Ainge as they dominated the '65 Celtics in Game 5 to win the series and advance.
Milwaukee- The Bucks held the Celtics to 13 in the 4th quarter and outscored them by 14 in the same period to finish the series. Russell was held to 3 points while Kareem scored 21, Oscar 18, and Dandridge 20 as they dominated the 4th to win in five.
Detroit- Isiah Thomas hit a 19 footer to give the Pistons the win after a wacky 2nd half that saw the Pistons outscore the Lakers 29-12 in the 3rd only to be outscored by the Lakers 24-15 that almost saw Shaq lead the Lakers back to take the game. The Pistons now up 3 games to 2 head back to LA to win the series.
