Summary
The second quarter of 1st Round games proved to be relatively uneventful. The closest game saw 4-seeded Cincinnati hold off 13-seeded Nevada 28-25 in their Robinson Region 1st round game as the Bearcats advanced to host 12-seeded Wisconsin, earlier victors over Virginia Tech. Overall 1-seeded Oklahoma easily defeated 16-seeded Louisiana Tech, however the Bulldogs never went away keeping the score close. However games turned out more liked Bryant 2-seed Alabama's shutout of 15-seeded Central Michigan, over early and by large margins.
