It's time for TNA's biggest pay-per-view of the year, Bound for Glory, live from Irvine, CA and it's time for my predictions for the show.
TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match
A.J. Styles (c) vs. Sting
For the past two months TNA has undergone a 'youth movement' and for the past three years, Sting has fought for the World Title in the Main Event and emerged the champion. Well does TNA revert to form as Sting walks out as champ or does the 'movement' continue? AJ retains.
Kurt Angel vs. Matt Morgan
This also falls into the 'youth movement' arguement above, however Angle has been TNA's biggest acquistion and star since he came to the promotion in 2006. Also there is the factor that with AJ retaining, he'll need a strong heel challenger. However, last Thursday's Super Impact has given TNA the way to set up AJ vs. Angle for November, so I'm giving the win to Morgan in a hard fought match.
Submission Match
Bobby Lashley vs. Samoa Joe
This one is hard to predict as TNA has been both high and reportedly sour on Lashley, also a strong heel needed for AJ if Angle doesn't get the title shot next month. I'm going with Joe getting the win, but Lashley won't be hurt.
Monster's Ball Match
Mick Foley vs. Abyss
The build up the last few weeks has given this match a much needed pick me up, but I'm so-so about the quality. I'm going with Abyss getting the win.
Ultimate X Match
TNA X Division Championship
The Amazing Red (c) vs. Suicide vs. D'Angelo Dinero vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Homicide
This went from a #1 Contender's Match to a title match when Red joined the match on his own. Usually that means the champion will lose, however given how he won the title and how is first title match went I see TNA giving Red the win to 'legitimate' his title reign.
Full Metal Mayhem Match
TNA World Tag Team & IWPG World Tag Team Championships Match
Scott Steiner & Booker T (TNA) vs. The British Invasion (IWPG) vs. Team 3D vs. Beer Money Inc.
Both Steiner & Booker are headed out so we're getting new TNA champs and New Japan hasn't been happy with TNA's use of their belts which means the IPWG will be changing hands as well. So will there be one team getting both titles or two different teams? I'll say Team 3D & Beer Money work together and both claim one of the titles...BMI are your new TNA champs, Team 3D reclaim the IWPG belts.
TNA Legends Championship Triple Threat Match
Kevin Nash (c) vs. Hernandez vs. Eric Young
I'm going out on a limb and say that EY gets the belt by screwing Nash from behind.
TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match
Tayler Wilde & Sarita (c) vs. The Beautiful People
I'm giving it to Velvet and Madison like it believe was the original plan before Angelina's trouble.
TNA Knockout Championship Match
ODB (c) vs. Tara vs. Awesome Kong
ODB's title reign has been a disservice to her and it's probably over. I'm going to say that Kong wins as the feud between her and Tara continues.
Okay everyone that's it for predictions. I'm going to be watching this show and I'll be giving my impressions afterwards.
